RETURN & REFUND POLICY (WHOLESALE / B2B)

Applies only to business customers.
This policy governs business-to-business (B2B) purchases from Core Trading UK. By placing an order you confirm you are purchasing in the course of business (not as a consumer). Consumer protection rights (e.g., distance selling cooling-off periods) do not apply.

1. Wholesale Orders Are Final Sale

All wholesale orders are final. We do not accept returns for change of mind, incorrect ordering by the buyer, or other non-product faults. Orders placed are deemed to be accepted by the buyer once payment has cleared and goods are dispatched.

Signing for goods as “unchecked” does not waive your right to report damage within 48 hours.

2. Damaged or Defective Items — Reporting Requirements

We will accept returns or replacements for items that are demonstrably damaged or defective on delivery under the conditions below.

Reporting timeframe: Report any damaged or defective goods within 48 hours of delivery.
To report a claim, email admin@coretradinguk.com with:

  • Your order number

  • A clear description of the issue

  • Photographic evidence showing the damaged item, the product packaging, and the outer shipping carton (if damaged in transit)

Claims received after 48 hours may be rejected.

3. Return Authorization & Window

If your claim is approved, we will provide a Return Authorization (RA) and return instructions. Approved damaged/defective returns must be returned within 7 days of delivery (or within 7 days of receiving the RA, where applicable).

4. Conditions for Approved Returns

Approved returns for damaged/defective goods must meet these conditions:

  • Items must be returned in their original packaging where practicable.

  • All original documentation and labels must be included.

  • Products must not have been used, opened (unless opening was necessary to verify the defect), or otherwise tampered with.

  • Photographic evidence must be provided prior to return authorization.

Returns that do not meet these conditions may be refused.

5. Return Shipping

For approved damaged/defective returns we will either:

  • Provide a prepaid return label; or

  • Reimburse reasonable return shipping costs upon receipt and inspection (receipts required).

Use a trackable shipping service. We recommend retaining proof of postage until the claim is resolved.

6. Resolution Options

On receipt and inspection of the returned goods we will, at our discretion:

  • Replace the item(s); or

  • Issue a full refund for the affected item(s); or

  • Provide account credit for the affected item(s) (for customers on trading terms).

Refunds or credits will be processed within 10 business days of receipt and inspection of the returned goods.

7. Non-Returnable Items (Wholesale)

The following wholesale items are final sale and cannot be returned:

  • Opened or unsealed beauty, fragrance, or personal care products

  • Special orders or bespoke bulk orders

  • Clearance or promotional items marked as final sale

  • Products returned without prior authorization and photographic evidence

8. Wholesale Order Accuracy & Buyer Responsibility

Wholesale customers are responsible for:

  • Verifying order quantities and product selections before placing an order

  • Inspecting deliveries immediately upon receipt and reporting any damage/shortages within 48 hours with photographic evidence

9. Refund Method

Refunds will be issued to the original payment method unless otherwise agreed. For customers on agreed payment terms, refunds may be issued as account credit.

10. Marketplace Resale & Policy Compliance

Wholesale customers must comply with Core Trading UK’s Terms & Conditions. Resale of products on third-party online marketplaces (e.g., Amazon, eBay, OnBuy, TikTok Shop) is strictly prohibited without prior written consent. Breach of this provision may result in account suspension and forfeiture of trade privileges.

12. Amendments

Core Trading UK may update this policy from time to time. The version published on our website at the time of order governs the transaction.

 

How to Report a Damaged or Defective Delivery

If your order arrives damaged or defective, please follow these steps immediately:

  1. Inspect the delivery upon arrival.
    Check outer cartons and products before signing off where possible.

  2. Report within 48 hours.
    Email admin@coretradinguk.com within 48 hours of delivery.

  3. Include the following in your email:

    • Order number

    • Clear description of the issue

    • Photographs showing:

      • The damaged or defective product

      • The product packaging

      • The outer shipping box (if damaged in transit)

      • Any visible shipping labels

  4. Do not dispose of the goods.
    Keep all packaging and items until your claim has been reviewed and instructions have been provided.

  5. Wait for return authorisation.
    Do not return goods without written approval from Core Trading UK.

Once your claim is reviewed, we will advise whether a replacement, refund, or credit will be issued.
